Pasta with chicken pesto is simple and tasty. For a quick dinner, serve with crusty bread and salad. You can adjust the amount of pesto sauce to your liking. Although using homemade pesto will increase flavor, preparation time will increase. Enjoy!

I added a little more garlic, red pepper flakes and olive oil , delicious!
Delicious! I only used 1 chicken breast as I am not a big meat eater. I also added 2 big handfuls of spicy and bitter mixed greens like arugula, mustard greens etc. and let them wilt a bit. Yummy!
Very good recipe. I only used 8 oz of pasta, but I used homemade fusilli pasta. It held the sauce nicely. I also used freshly homemade pesto with 2 chicken breasts and the sun dried tomatoes. Great use of excess basil. Will definitely be making again.
family favorite. quick and easy
Didn’t have bowtie pasta, used fettuccine noodles. Only had a teaspoon of dried tomatoes so added cut cherry tomatoes. It’s lovely
Yummy and near perfect! I tried this with macaroni and I do feel it would be improved with either penne, farfalle, or possibly shells. The only edit I may suggest would be adding less pesto. It’d make this lighter and it really doesn’t need as much as it calls for, unless you’re a real big pesto lover. To me personally, it was bordering on too much at 1/3 cup.
Seasoned chicken with seasoning salt instead of red pepper flakes and used whole container of cherry tomatoes instead of sundried.
This makes a lot, so great for leftovers. Next time I would add more pesto and extra red pepper flakes to spice it up.
I didn’t really like this but my husband did. This did make a lot, at least 8 servings. For the leftovers, I added a jar of Bertolli pesto alfredo sauce, some grated Parmesan and the rest of the jar of sun-dried tomatoes. I liked it better this way but not enough to make again.
Yum. I used what I had, including one 12.5 can chicken, 2 cups (dry) bow tie pasta, fresh tomato and pine nuts on top. Made my own pesto from 3/4 cup basil.
Great! Used blistered tomatoes instead, and scape pesto. Tasted amazing
It was good,,however I found it to be a little dry. I added some chicken broth and it worked fine for my taste.
It is very oily. Not sure I like the sun-dried tomatoes.
Good weeknight recipe but I’ll boost the flavors next time.
We really like this recipe, but I don’t understandhow it is 8 servings.
Making this for the second time. It’s easy snd delicious. Perfect summer meal because you don’t have to heat up the kitchen!!
Glad the pesto isn’t cooked in this recipe. I didn’t use Tomatoes, but I added broccoli
my husband loved it because it wasn’t salty! I cooked the whole pound of pasta but didn’t use all the noodles, probably because I didn’t have quite a half cup of pesto. good recipe to use if you have leftover pesto and sundried tomatoes. I seasoned the chicken with the gambit of Italian spices. we had it with some Texas toast. was going to make a salad with it but didn’t really need to. super simple recipe.
Delicious and easy! I didn’t have sun-dried tomatoes, so I added spinach and diced zucchini. I will try this with the tomatoes. Yummy!
Outstanding! Don’t change a thing. I will make this again and again. Thank you, Kristin.
It is really good but the pesto sausage seem to need something more (to be a little thicker). Other than that the family loved the recipe and it is fast and easy to make.
