Added rotisserie chicken, basil pesto, Italian peppers and onions and garlic. My favorite for now.

We started by heating oil and then cooking the onions until translucent. Then added the pesto sauce and threw in a little pasta water and salt and pepper as well as red pepper flakes with spinach stuffed tortellini . It was delicious and a big hit with hubby

Wish a recipe of pesto was included right here. Other than that looks great!

Cook chicken with onion and tsp garlic, then add rest. Grate block of parm. Great with rotini pasta.

I liked this recipe but I made my own version. I doubled on the olive oil and sautéed the onions. Once they became translucent, I added 1.5 tablespoons of minced garlic. After 2 mins of sautéing the gralic, I added tomatoes and spices (salt, fresh pepper, garlic powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and a bit of red chilli powder). I covered it to let the tomatoes soften a bit and once they were soft I turned off the stove and added my mixture with rotini pasta. I then added 4 big tablespoons full of basil pesto and parmesan and boy oh boy did this turn out to be the best pasta!!

Fine but I used some curry powder and a seasoning cube and it tasted better would recommend

Loved this pasta. I did what others suggested in their reviews and doubled the pesto, olive oil & onions. Actually I think I may triple it next time for even more sauce. (We love sauce ). We didn’t toss the pasta with the pesto sauce either… We each ladled it on individually. I added red pepper flakes and fresh minced garlic as well. Simple, easy and quick. Very tasty. Oh… And I forgot all about the shredded parmesan cheese. Something to look forward to next time…lol.

It was ok. My first experience making something with my homemade pesto. Should have read the reviews. I did adjust the servings to 2. Too much pasta, not enough everything else. I still have 1 serving left, which I added more pesto, pepper and cheese. Definitely going to add red pepper flakes before eating it again. Thanks for all your good recommendations!

almost perfect … substituted onion powder for onions , added garlic powder , added fresh-cracked black pepper … used more EVOO too !

I like that this was so easy. I heeded other reviewers warnings that it turned out “too bland” so I doubled the oil and pesto. I added 2 garlic cloves & red pepper flakes. Also, I put in way more parmesan than what it calls for. (You measure that stuff with your heart lol.) Overall, thought it was great. Will make again.

A great basic recipe. I added more garlic and a lot of olive oil. Sliced the garlic. Added red pepper flakes and a little Italian seasoning. Three tablespoons of fresh pesto. Sauté. Not dry. I save a cup of pasta water in case it was dry. My husband loved it. We have enough left for lunch tomorrow. Plus I have the saved pasta water to wake it up. Pasta water is gold. Don’t throw it down the sink.

It was easy. I added cooked broccoli and shrimp. I sprinkled crushed red pepper.

Doubled pesto and olive oil, added garlic, so easy and good!!

Was pretty tasty, light and herby but needs something else to go with it for a meal. I made chicken legs (thigh + drumstick) topped with some Italian type seasonings.
Jessica Schmidt
I sliced grape tomatoes on top as garnish! Thanks for the easy delicious dinner.

I always end up with bits of leftover pesto in the freezer, perfect for this recipe.
