Great with Garlic Expressions dressing!
I make this regularly however as suggested use any pasta. We use Angel Hair spaghetti in ours and omit the red onion. We do add shrimp to the dish. Our dinner guests and we love this.
We really enjoyed this, and it is oh-so-easy to make. Roma tomatoes never seem to have good flavor, so I used Campari tomatoes and tried to drain off some of the juice and seeds. Forgot the onion, but it didn’t seem to make that much difference. Fresh, tasty, and perfect for a hot summer day when you don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen.
This made a great summertime meal. I served it with a fresh tossed salad.
I loved this pasta. Light and refreshing.
This is the perfect recipe for fresh tomatoes from the garden! I used 3 beefsteak tomatoes and didn’t bother with removing seeds. Made my own Italian Dressing using the dry mix recipe from this site. Served this w Baked Paprika Parmesan Chicken also from this site. What a great combination – my husband and I loved it. Will definitely make again. I think the only change I would make next time is to add a little heat using crushed red pepper flakes.
I really enjoyed making this recipe for dinner. It was very, very delicious and even my toddler enjoyed it! I did add bits of chicken for extra flavor!!
Really good! I added some garlic powder and it was really good and easy.
Delicious (I wolfed it down) but could use more oomph. Next time would add minced garlic, cooked chicken pieces, and red pepper flakes. Excellent summer side dish or main course.
Loved it . Made some adjustments and it is a keeper . I used 1/3 Cup Olive Garden Italian Dressing . Added Italian Parsley with fresh basil . Sautéd the red onion and garlic in Olive oil . Reserved some of the pasta water to add to the mixture when tossing . Also added infused Olive Oil with Basil as well . Key is to make sure the tomatoes are very ripe . Salt and Pepper of course . It was delicious
Very tasty. I sautéed some zucchini squash with the garlic for some additional texture and I think it helped.
This is awesome!!! Love it.
awesome
Easy peasy! Replaced Italian dressing with sautéed ingredientes in good olive oil . YUM!!
Enjoyed it very much! Added a bit of garlic and bell peppers and used Italian seasoning with olive oil and balsamic vinegar instead of store bought Italian dressing. Even better the following day! Will definitely make it again.
some of the best pasta with healthy greens.
I used whole wheat pasta instead of bleached, and also 2 cans of diced tomatoes works fine if you don’t have tomatoes! Dried or frozen basil also works well if you don’t have any fresh. I would personally add a tiny bit more cheese next time
Beautiful, delicious and easy summertime pasta dish. Thank you!
We make this all the time. If you want to u can dice up a cucumber or toss in some spinach for added veggies
Not crazy about it.
We used less tomatoes. Needs more dressing next time. But it was good! It had a nice flavor to it. Simple!
