Quick and simple to prepare, this small meatloaf dish. The whole family enjoys it. These loaves have a tangy flavor because to the brown sugar and ketchup.

This is a very basic meatloaf recipe. People who give five stars are all adding additional seasonings. It definitely could be five stars with the addition of some vegetables like onions, celery, and peppers, as well as the addition of some spices like garlic, salt, pepper and paprika but that would be a different recipe. I do appreciate the individual meatloaf idea, however. It keeps my family honest about the calories we are consuming without the temptation of going back for another slice.

Love this one, I do make a few changes, switch out the ketchup for bbq sauce and I add onions, making this for dinner tonight!

I layer the bottom of the pan with sliced potatoes to raise the meatloaf out of the grease. I also add diced onion to the beef mixture.

This has been a favorite recipe for years. The only things I do different are: I add chopped onion and unless I want to wash a lot of the topping down the drain, I make only about half of what the recipe calls for. 2/3 cup of ketchup is way too much for 8 tiny meatloaves.

Very good recipe. Used muffin tins so probably knock down cooking time to 30 minutes.

Now my go to meatloaf. This is fantastic exactly as written. I’ve played around with onions, garlic, parsley, etc, but there is no reason to modify this recipe. I made it for my parents and my 70+ year old dad said “this is the first time I’ve ever eaten meatloaf without putting ketchup on it”. Make this meatloaf!

So easy! And with ingredients on hand. No changes and delicious.

The ketchup mixture on top was WAY too sweet. Probably would cut the sugar in half our out entirely.

I’ve been using this recipe for years, it’s 1 of 3 meatloaf recipes I rotate through and my families favorite. I just wanted to say, although I normally follow the recipe exactly, tonight I made it with 1 cup panko breadcrumbs since I didn’t have oatmeal and it turned out delicious as well. Thank you for the great recipe!

This recipe is very good. I make three in small loaf pans and freeze two of them. They are a very large meal for us. Thank you.

This has become a staple for my family.
