Total Time: | 25 mins |

Yield: | 4 pork chops |
Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ cups finely chopped raw pecans
- 4 bone-in pork chops, 3/4-inch thick
- cooking spray
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C), about 5 minutes, if directed by the manufacturer.
- Combine cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Add egg and whisk until all ingredients are well combined. Place pecans on a plate.
- Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture, then set on the plate with the pecans, pressing pecans firmly onto both sides until coated. Spray the chops on both sides with cooking spray and place in the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the air fryer for 6 minutes. Turn chops carefully with tongs, and air fry until pork is no longer pink in the center, about 6 minutes longer. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
- This recipe yielded chops that were tender and done to medium. Four chops fit well in my 5.8 quart air fryer basket. If you have a smaller machine, you may need to cook in batches, keeping the batches warm in the oven, until all are finished.
- Air fryers perform differently, according to brand design. Your air fryer may provide different results.

Perfect every time. Easy too.
I’ve made this twice. Once, I made it according to directions, half recipe. The next time I had some VERY THICK pork chops, so made one, adding some Penzey’s Northwoods Fire seasoning, and making it in a 375 degree oven – turning after 40 minutes, cooking another 30. I think THAT one came out better.
Made this using thin-cut boneless chops, adjusting the cooking time. Worked really well, although the coating understandably didn’t crisp up as much as it normally would. Flavor was great. Will definitely do this again.
I made it exactly as written and it was absolutely delicious! Very easy. Will make again.
Great juicy pork chops. Easy too. Loved them.
