These delicious beef samosas are hot and tasty. This dish was given to me by a friend from Bangladesh. Better is simply not available in stores!

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®) and select Saute function. Pour in olive oil and warm until hot. Add chicken thighs and brown on both sides, 3 to 5 minutes per side.
- Meanwhile, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a bowl for the marinade. Pour marinade over chicken thighs in the pot and bring to a simmer; cook for 2 minutes and scrape browned bits off bottom of pot. Turn off Saute mode. Close and lock the lid.
- Select high pressure according to manufacturer’s instructions; set timer for 10 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
- Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer’s instructions, 10 to 40 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
- Stir cold water and cornstarch together in a small bowl. Remove chicken thighs from Instant Pot® and transfer to a plate.
- Select Saute function. Pour cornstarch mixture into the remaining sauce in the pot. Cook until sauce has thickened, 2 to 3 minutes. Turn off Saute mode. Pour some of the sauce over teriyaki thighs and serve.

It was excellent I had to change up the recipe a bit I didn’t have all the ingredients I used teriyaki sauce, maple syrup, wht. Sugar, powered ginger, onion, garlic, chic broth but I followed your recipe the chicken was so tender Thanks
I doubled the recipe (except for the brown sugar) to have leftovers. Fabulous!
Oh so good and easy. A family favorite and in my “make again” recipe file. There are many critical comments about changing the recipe. However, due to lack of some of the ingredients for the sauce I used Trader Joe’s Soyaki and it worked very well.
No need to make any changes. The sauce was delightful and the chicken was falling apart.
Delicious and all 5 of us loved it!!
Great recipe!
Absolutely delicious. I will say, because I’m a celiac, my soy sauce is tamari and I believe that changed “something”. That being said, this was amazing. Absolutely delicious.
Not impressed. Just thought it was average.
I used half the sugar and boneless skinless chicken thighs. It turned out pretty dry but we still ate it. Next time I will cook less time or use bone in thighs.
I made this recipe as directed and my husband and I found the sauce to be way too sweet. However, my 15 YO thought it was great. I’ll try it again but with less brown sugar.
perfect! used 3 chicken breast and turned out great. made as directed no changes.
Delicious!!! Exactly as the recipe stated.
No changes! It was simple and very tasty! Thanks!
Delicious and simple to make! as good as any restaurant chicken teriyaki I`ve had. Next time we plan on adding some chili to spicy it up and balance the sweet
Excellent recipe, easy to make. Only suggestion is to double the recipe (make it with 8 thighs and double the rest of the ingredients too) as it will be gobbled down quickly! I found the last time I was out of fresh ginger and used ginger powder instead, worked okay.
A very good and EZY! recipe. I did not strain out the scallions rather I left the and all of the juice in the pot and thickened it and it was fine. Next time I am adding some shrooms. I didn’t give this 5 stars because, even though Taster Brother loved it, I thought it lacked the WOW factor.
These were wonderful. I used thighs that were really too small, didn’t know my wife had the larger ones in a different bag in the freezer. I also poured too much sauce over the rice. All my fault!
I followed the recipe and it was great. So good in fact that someone grabbed the leftovers out of the refrigerator and made off with them!
THEE MOST AMAZING I’VE EVER MADE THANK YOU – MY HUSBAND LOVED IT!!!! I LOVED IT!! I’VE FLOPPED 5 OTHER RECIPE’S BEFORE THIS ONE SO I’M SO HAPPY
Delicious. Big hit with the fam. I followed the recipe exactly.
Yum Yum Yum! I followed the directions exactly except I did a quick release and it was fine. This chicken was delicious! Served with white rice but next time I’ll add some snow peas and/or mushrooms.
