This Parmesan-crusted tilapia recipe is quick to prepare and flavorful. Even my spouse, who doesn’t care eating fish very much, returned for more. Effective for low-carb diets.

I love how easy this recipe is! I always swap barbecue sauce instead of ketchup, mixing 1/3 cup in with Turkey and spreading more on top. I cut up a small onion and throw that in. Add either garlic powder/garlic salt instead of just salt. I add whatever cheese I have on hand, which is usually a shredded cheese and it works fine.
One of our family’s favorite dishes. The internal temperature takes longer than an hour so be prepared for that.
I put some bacon on the top and I’m doing this because the website doesn’t save my recipe.
Good recipe! I cut the recipe in half and used shredded cheese. I used BBQ sauce instead of ketchup and added a few tablespoons of minced onions.
This recipe turned out great!! The only difference I made was that I replaced the cheese as noted with Velveeta cheese. It turned out perfect and delicious! My family loved it 🙂 thanks for sharing this recipe!
So good! Will definitely make again!
This is absolutely delicious. I’ve made this many times now and have changed a few things for my preference. The original is great too though. My changes are to season the turkey with a packet of Italian dressing seasoning instead of the salt and pepper. Cut the cheese in half and use freshly shredded cheese. And instead of ketchup use hickory bbq sauce mixed (1/3 cup) in the meat and a lot on top. This takes it to a whole new level.
Love it! I substitute BBQ sauce for the ketchup. It gives it a bit of tang. By the time the oven is preheated to 400, I have it put together
It’s a very forgiving recipe. Almost every time I make it, I (unintentionally) leave out an ingredient or two and sometimes I add whatever I feel like. It tastes great every time.
DELICIOUS!!!!! I did make a few small changes to the recipe. I added some chopped onions and peppers, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce and instead of colby cheese I used marbled cheddar bc thats all I had that could be cubed. It came out perfect! I will always use this recipe for turkey meatloaf. I may try different cheeses just to experiment with the recipe, but, I am very happy with the way it turned out and so was my son who almost ate the whole thing by himself. Thank you
It turned out cooked and crispy in some areas and a bit mushy in others I used some Feta too. A good idea. Just not sure why it cooked uneven Tasted great!
This dish was amazing. I’m not usually a fan of meatloaf, but this has changed my mind. It was very easy to make and took very few ingredients. I’m a fan and will be sending this link to my family and friends. Thank you!
This was very good! The only problem I had is that it had too much liquid at the bottom. Otherwise, this was very yummy!
I halved the recipe and it turned out great! We like BBQ sauce instead of ketchup so that’s what it was topped with. Easy, good, perfect for dinner!
This is delicious!!! Yum yum. I added the carrots and onions and used spicy Panko bread crumbs and a variety of cheeses (Gouda, cheddar, pepper jack) freshly shredded. I placed them on wire racks as soon as they hit the right temp to cool quickly and keep the moisture.
My daughter and hus band loved it! It needed to set for a bit, fell apart when tried to slice right out of the oven. After sitting for about 10 minutes, much easier to slice. I used shredded cheese and added flavoring as some other reviewers noted, garlic powder and worsteshire sauce.
Always a favorite in our home. I mix it up from time to time. Last time I added fresh mozzarella and Italian seasonings and served it with a Caesar salad. Tonight it is cheddar cheese with onion powder, garlic salt and pepper. Have fun!!!
You should really only cook it for 50 minutes at 400. If you do a full hour I have notice it dries out and burns badly. I know the old Jennie O recipe called for an hour at 375 and this one is just about identical to it.
Made this and my people loved it! Did not disclose to our son that it was ground turkey until he was through his second serving. I added a medium onion, diced, had sharp cheddar on hand which heightened the flavor of the cheesy treats inside, and the bread crumbs I had were garlic & herb seasoned. Next time I’ll add carrots and maybe some sweet bell peppers.
Recipe is pretty good. Will definitely make it again. I only used 8oz block of cheese which seemed more than enough. I also waited until the last ten minutes to add the ketchup after draining the fat that raised to the top. Meatloaf was moist and cheesy. Took a star away only because the flavor relies on a seasoned breadcrumb which is completely out of my control. Next time I will use plain and season as I desire.
I’ve been making this for about 10 years. My now 22 year old son came over 2 nights ago to have this dish (it’s his favorite). I’ve always made it exactly by this recipe but decided to play with it this time. I added 1 pkg of Lipton Onion Soup Mix to the turkey mix then, instead of topping it with just ketsup, I mixed 1/4 cup of brown sugar and a pinch of paprika to the ketsup. Made for a much tastier topping.
