Use the slow cooker instead of heating up your kitchen or yourself when it’s 100 degrees or more in the summer! To prevent the burgers from sitting in their own juices, make a “rack” out of hand-formed rolls of aluminum foil for the bottom of the cooker. You can make a burger that looks fantastic and tastes great by adding some browning sauce and smoke flavor. Cheese, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, sliced tomato, sliced onion, and lettuce are all available as extra toppings for the hamburgers.

This was a crowd favorite! My 10 year old had 4! He’s a picky eater. I critiqued a few things here and there. I cooked my chicken in a Dutch oven on low for 3 and half hours with 5oz of enchilada sauce, 2/3 c water and a packet of taco seasoning. Then shredded with forks. The rest of the recipe I followed! This is a staple in my house now. Will be trying it with shredded pork and ground beef. Superb!
amazing. very good with cheddar cheese and basil, although it is quite messy.
Tasty! I added extra oregano
This is so quick and easy to make. You can add whatever you want. Family loved it!
I put diced chicken, onions and peppers and taco shredded cheese blend on mine. Have also just made with sauce and lots of cheese! Delicious!
Loved it! I made mine with bbq sauce, leftover chicken, and blue and Italian cheeses.
I got my tortilla cheese pizza
Fuzzy warm feelings with pizza delight. I added mushrooms and sauteed onions, great as a snack in the afternoons
Excellent budget friendly pizza night recipe!
I had some bread dipping oil (olive oil, garlic, Grated pecorino Romano and Italian spices) I used for the base… then topped with olive tampanade, roasted tomatoes, mozzarella and pepperoni
This was great. I didn’t pre bake the tortilla but my oven is pretty efficient. I just spread olive oil garlic and salt on my tortilla, then Lily spread it with tomato sauce and cheese and pepperoni plus fresh basil. Only 5 minutes in the oven. It was excellent!
I used RAO s spaghetti sauce/Mozzarella/turkey pepperoni/Ham/Green peppers — easy and healthy! Delicious !
It’s really good and very easy to make The crust is just perfect! I would highly recommend this pizza!!
Very good, very easy! My twins eat a lot and I didn’t have enough pizza pans, so…I cooked in a pan over low heat (slightly above LOW). Placed tortilla in warm pan, spread olive oil around, and sprinkled garlic salt and Cajun seasoning/Italian seasonings over it. Sprinkled cheese; cheese then pepperoni; cheese then a lot more cheese onto different “pizzas” using alfredo sauce, Marinara sauce, both sauces at once. One pizza I added some fresh Romano/Parmigiano. I used the dinner plate sized tortillas. Sliced into 8 worked best! We all ate great with a few slices leftover for lunch — Dad’s lunch! Overall, very inexpensive, easy and tasty. My boys suggested that we don’t need to order pizza anymore!
We’ve actually been making our own low carb version of this for years. We use low carb tortillas, and instead of heating the tortillas in the oven, we char them on our gas stove top burner for a half minute or so per side. Then we put the sauce and toppings on and finish in the oven. I checked out this recipe primarily to compare the time and temperature used. Basically the same as ours, but I like the idea of seasoning the tortilla before browning in the oven!
Great snack or small meal and completely open to playing around with toppings. When I want to switch it up and have a thick crust “pizza” I use some Naan bread instead of tortillas. Thanks for the recipe – I use it often!
I loved it! My husband likes a traditional hamburger cheese pizza and I like to try different toppings so this was perfect! His only complaint was thin crust so next time I will double the tortillas for him with cheese between as was suggested in another review! Great idea!
Just made the basic, pepperoni and/or cheese.
Great “pizza” for my jr high schooler to make after school
I thought it was a wonderful idea and it tastes great oh, but the center of it was really soft
I made this little pizza using turkey pepperonis and it was amazing! Once the pizza was cooked i did put it under the broiler for a minute just to get the top good and done.
