These spicy vegetarian fajitas are a favorite in my family. Serve the fajitas with flour tortillas, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and I even added boiled broccoli on the side so that everyone could add it if they want.

The directions are perfect!!! YUM
Loved this recipe. I prepared it exactly the way it is and it was quick easy and delicious!!
My husband and two young boys loved it. I love it when recipes work out!
So easy and delicious! Paired them with Chef John’s Cream of Mushroom soup. Perfect combo!
I did not care for this recipe at all. The hot peppers and juice and Ranch dressing absolutely overwhelmed any taste of beef. French Dip sandwiches don’t need the heat of hot peppers or Ranch seasoning! I threw it in the garbage. A very costly mistake making this just as the recipe said.
Very good & easy to make. Used McCormick Gravy Mix – Au Jus instead of beef consomme. Added some garlic powder & Worcestershire while warming up gravy mix.
I made this exactly as the recipe was written and it was really good but the sauce seemed to be missing the extra flavor I was looking for. The second time I made it, I added garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce to the consume and the family raved about it. I added a teaspoon of garlic powder and about a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.
These were easy and delicious! I did caramelize an onion before I added the consomme and water. And I added a dash of Worcestershire sauce to it as well. I used French Bread and toasted before adding the cheese and meat, as well as toasting after for 3-4 min. My son who can be a picky eater even ate his. Will definitely make again.
This sandwich was ~ delish! I loved the beef consomme (plus water) dip .. so rich and yummy. The only thing I would change is that I will broil the sandwiches instead of baking them as I would like a little crust on the bread. Otherwise, can’t wait to make it again!
This is how I make the dips for past five years!! Someone stole my secret
Sounds and looks delicious. How can you do similar using low salt.
So good! I made au jus to go with it instead of the beef consummate.. will make again and use toaster oven next time..
I added onion in the pot turned out great
What an easy way to make yummy French Dip sandwiches! The only change I made was to spread garlic butter on the open bun halves and broil till crispy. That way they hold up to the dunking in au jus!
Very easy and delicious!
Man I’m a line cook at a pretty good restaurant and I made these tonight and the family loved it!!!
I couldn’t find consomme so I used one can of beef broth and added a teaspoon of Better than Bullion beef.
My family loves this recipe and it’s so quick and easy to make!
I used Au Jus sauce. I already had it. it worked well.
use half can water, more delicious. otherwise perfect!
These sandwiches were a crowd-pleaser! I can’t cook, so my family was skeptical that I could pull off dinner. These were easy and very tasty!
