Made as written and these were really good. So juicy and tender. I don’t feel the olive oil added much if any so I’d leave it out next time. Simple and straight forward as a burger should be!

It was ok. But remember, never put salt on beef, ever!

I did not have liquid smoke and I used sea salt instead of seasoned salt. The burgers were excellent. Served them covered with sliced portobello cooked in butter. Yum yum

These were very good, but I made a couple of mistakes that I’ll correct next time. First, I forgot to add salt, which I added to the cooked burgers before eating. I used a teaspoon of liquid smoked

Yes I did make it and I will make it again. I did not put the liquid smoke in because I don’t like the taste, however the burgers turned out perfectly thanks to the time chart.

Followed the recipe. They turned out perfect. I loved the flavor of the Worcester sauce.

Delicious savory burgers. I changed up the recipe just a bit by adding Paprika, minced garlic, and basting with BBQ sauce right before taking it off the grill. Added some cheddar cheese on top and made a couple sides of spinach and green beans. It was delicious, I found 5 min on each side gets them very well done, so I flipped them a little quicker to get a nice pink center. Would definitely make again.

Great recipe! We omitted the liquid smoke, as we cooked on a charcoal grill. Grill time was a little longer for us and we used a lid until last 2 minutes. Juicy, tender, flavorful! A real keeper!

I was looking for a way to add some extra taste to our grilled burgers. I liked this recipe because the ingredients were simple and always on hand. I will definitely use this recipe again.

The burgers were delicious. We used the exact recipe except halving the Liquid Smoke. I’m glad we did or it might have been too smokey. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed this burger! I never dreamed the liquid smoke and the Worcestershire sauce would give it such great flavor! I will definitely make these again.

Would make this again, they were a real hit.

These were good. I read other reviews and added egg and onion powder to enhance flavor for my picky eaters! Great basic recipe!
Carly Vazquez
Definitely YES. Very tasty. Will add a little salt next time.

Used extra lean ground beef, and was dry. The liquid smoke was a bit pungent.

These burgers were a big hit! I do not care for the smokey/barbecue flavor, so I didn’t use the smokey sauce. However, I did add 1 egg to help hold the meat together which was relatively successful. I had also added a small amount of ketchup and mustard, but I think I will leave those out next time. My husband will definitely want these tasty burgers again.

Like others suggested, I only used half of the Liquid Smoke; added about 1/2 tsp onion powder and a splash of low-sodium soy sauce. Also sprinkled them with garlic pepper and fried them indoors. No bun necessary! Great hamburger steak!!!

Made exactly as written – loved them – this is my new grilled hamburger recipe.

Meat did not stick together well, and smoke flavouring way overpowering.
