So easy & so delicious!!! I have made fried shrimp before but with regular breadcrumbs the panko definitely gives it the perfect crunch. I did add franks red hot to the eggs and cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper to the flour to give my own spin to it. Will be making again, even my husband who is pretty picky about seafood loved these thanks for the recipe!
These turned out perfect! I’ve never attempted fried shrimp in all my years of cooking. I guess I assumed it was too much trouble. I followed the recipe as written, used my trusty Fry Daddy, and they were perfect. I don’t think that I cooked them a full minute, maybe 45 seconds, five at a time. Panko is a must! I will definitely be making these again!
It turned out deliciously. My whole family liked it.
This was perfection! The simplicity of using only salt and pepper absolutely made the flavor of shrimp shine! I also used this same recipe with cod and it was so good!
We liked this very much
Loved this shrimp! It was incredibly easy and loved the end result. Would love to do it again and add some additional seasonings into the panko crumbs. Definitely going to use this method from now on!
I thought it was quite tasty. I used two instead of three eggs. Will definitely make again!
I think that that’s a real nice recipe I never cooked shrimp with flour before…
Wonderful recipe. Followed it exactly & it was delicious! My husband loved so much.
I think it could use additional spices. The flavor was good, but I think it could have been enhanced.
it was so delicious i add paprika for flavor it was a tad plain but and easy fix and made my own cocktail sacue off this website 10/10
This was easy and came out great! Panko is the way to go for extra crispy coating.
To the flour I added garlic powder, cajun seasoning, and pinch of cayenne pepper. To the eggs I added lemon and lime juice. And to the panko I added salt and paprika. Absolutely delicious!
Just what I was looking for! Love that crunch.
Outstanding recipe for amazing crunchy shrimp! Easy, fast 2-step recipe. My wife loves the shrimp.
For my first time the batch came out pretty nice. I started with the oil temp to high but only cooked a few to find out. Then the rest turned perfectly golden brown.
Amazing recipe! You want to use Panko breadcrumbs as opposed to regular breadcrumbs. The texture makes it extra crispy and professional looking! Piece of advice: remove shrimp tails or buy shrimp without the tails. I left them on to follow the recipe as is, but sadly, we kept eating small pieces of shell with our shrimp that had stuck to the batter. Because of this, I subtracted a star. Other than that, flavor wise, this is one of the best foods I have ever made. Husband, who is a major foodie, was impressed. Recipe is simple, but so so delicious. Don’t think about it and just make this shrimp now!
very good i added more seasoning tasted delicious!
Easy Peasy to make. My boyfriend who doesn’t eat seafood loved the batter. Chrissy
Perfect shrimp! I couldn’t fry them fast enough!!!
Beat fried shrimp ever.
