This recipe for turkey burgers is the finest. My spouse said “no more” to beef burgers after cooking them for the first time. These have a ton of flavor, can be prepared in any way, and freeze really well. The recipe can be used to make meatloaves or meatballs as well.

For grill -Had to put them on tin foil / cook on high 10 mins a side use meat thermometer to get up to 165* came out good
The burgers were great. My problem is the raw mixture was very sticky and moist, almost the consistency of thick cake batter. It fell through the grill bars a little so difficult to lift off. . Maybe it’s because the ground turkey was ground very fine, moreso than ground beef. Any suggestions? More bread crumbs?
Hands down the juiciest and most tasty burger ever. The guys in my family prefer it over beef and claim it’s better than any restaurant burger they’ve ever had. In our regular rotation for sure.
I grilled it and I grilled it a little too long cause I was prepping other things to go with it, so it was a little on the dry side, otherwise would have been great. I used only 1 lb of turkey, big handful of breadcrumbs, dash of soy sauce and worcestorshire, dried parsley and Uncle Chris’ seasoning.
Best burger for a low-fat diet!
I used 1.3 lbs of meat and 1 egg And 1/4 onion & 1/4 bread crumb & 1tbls minced garlic and a drop of Visalia onion vinegarette marinade
These hamburgers are delicious! When I saw turkey burgers I was kinda skeptic to try the recipe because I thought the turkey meat is so lean they are going to be dry, but to my surprise, on the contrary, these hamburgers turned up juicy and delicious!
I loved these! They are moist and tasty. Made them pretty much as directed, but did add slightly more bread crumbs based on a “melting through the grill” comment. I also wasn’t super religious about the exact amounts of onion, garlic and parsley, but venture to say I was pretty close. I had no problem with grilling them – they were terrific and the recipe goes into the “summertime” dinner rotation.
It was good. I baked them, added a mushroom sauce, butter, flour and a little chicken broth and sliced mushrooms. Other than that stuck to the recipie. Oh yea, my wife likes rosemary so I added that. Scaled out at 4-5 ounces per and made six on 1.2lbs of lean ground turkey.
followed Ausiemum1’s advice with red peppers and seasoning and these burgers where so flavorful! Family had no clue that they were turkey burgers!!! served them with munster cheese, mustard, lettuce and tomato. So good!!!
Nice! Really tasty and easy to assemble. This has become my go-to whenever ground turkey is on sale. Note: Spreading horseradish mustard on the bun gives it a nice kick; the flavor goes well with the patty.
It was great. I can get used to this recipe
These are good enough to skip the beef.
Made this as is except used two whole eggs (didn’t want to have to save yolks), and WOW! DELICIOUS!
I made 4 burgers with one LB ground turkey. I used one whole egg and added a bit of chopped green pepper plus cayenne pepper powder and a teaspoon olive oil. I eyeballed the other ingredients in the recipe. I will make a larger batch and freeze some next time. I served the burgers with tzatziki sauce, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and arugula.
The best turkey burger I’ve ever tasted!!!!! After reading through the reviews of this recipe I followed some of the suggested modifications. 2 tablespoons of soy sauce rather than salt and 1 teaspoon of worcesterchire sauce. I also used 2 cloves of garlic rather than 1 (because I love garlic). Everything else was exactly according to the recipe. I served these on slightly toasted cracked wheat buns with white cheddar cheese, grilled onions, tomato slices, lettuce, and the usual condiments. So delicious!!!
I tried this recipe because her husband preferred it to Beef Burgers. Truthfully, I didn’t expect my husband to be thrilled but it sounded good. WELL…wonder of wonders, my husband said “These are really REALLY good and I think I prefer these to the regular hamburger patties you make!” I am dumbfounded! I loved the recipe for me and made extra patties for the freezer, but when Steve said that I KNEW this recipe is a keeper. I highly recommend it for flavor, ease of preparation and the fact that “picky” people will love it too. Thanks so much for sharing this!
Really good! For the small household: used 1/2 # ground turkey, and about 1/4 of the rest of the ingredients instead of 1/6. Onion was two slices med onion and garlic 1/2 large clove, both finely minced. Finely snipped parsley until it looked like about right, like 1 Tbsp. 1 Tbsp plain breadcrumbs, 1 egg white beaten until frothy then about half roughly 2 Tbsp. 1/4 tsp salt and freshly ground black pepper until it looked right. IT TURNED OUT GREAT! Topped with a provalone slice while hot then between bun with mustard, raw onion rings and lettuce. YUM
I have never left a review for recipes I looked up online before this but, I had to pay my respects because my family absolutely loved these burgers!! I am on a health kick right now so fast food has been limited heavily and my entire family is trying to eat right as well. Ive been craving a McDonald’s Big Mac so, I used your recipe but, made the patties super thin to crispy them up a bit. Topped them with homemade thousand island and bam I’m a winner!
We agree. These burgers are actually delicious. I was surprised and disappointed to discover that I was out of breadcrumbs as I was preparing this dish. I had some wheat germ so I used that because I thought the consistency would be close. It worked, but next time I’ll make sure to have breadcrumbs in the pantry. Served with bacon, cheese, avocado, and Sir Kensington’s Garlic Everything sauce. Delicious!
This was ABSOLUTELY delicious! The first time I made it, I used dried parsley, as I didn’t have any fresh parsley on hand. STILL delicious! The second time, I used fresh parsley, but less than the recipe called for. I didn’t want to overwhelm the burgers. *And one cool feature I have always loved about Allrecipes. com, you can tweak it by using the “adjustment” feature. My family only needs 4 burgers, so I put four in the adjustment, and it calculates how much of each ingredient I’ll need. – Z. Mitchell, North Carolina.
