I loved it,so easy!I saw a comment from someone. This is meant to be her recipe, not the regular Italian recipe.B.TW, their recipe sounds great, but this isn’t a ITALIAN Baked ziti. I like to switch it up sometimes. Everyone has their own taste.
Added garlic to this, would be a tad better with some other added seasonings such as basil, and oregano, will be making again. Super easy! Want to try it with ricotta instead of sour cream!
My family loved it. I had some leftovers to use up so made a half recipe the second time but it is definitely picture perfect and hopefully tastes judt as good as the first one.
Perfect simple recipe. I added some additional seasoning (3 garlic cloves, oregano, basil, salt, pepper) and also diced 4 Roma tomatoes to cook down with the onions. I did not use any beef. Easy and delicious!
Excellent recipe and I made it as written without any changes.
This is a great recipe. I’ve made it with sour cream and without, I think both have merits. My husband prefers without. I’ve made this many times!
Oh man, this is what I’ve been searching for!
I have made this at least 8 times with no changes and its always been a hit. Awesome recipe thank you.
I’ve made this dish many times. It has become a family staple. Its comfort food at its best.
Very quick to make. It’s absolutely delicious! When I bring it to a potluck there is never anything left!
This is the BEST recipe that I’ve ever found! LOVE this meal!
This is the only recipe I use to make baked ziti. The only thing I omit is the ground beef. My husband and I both love this delicious dish.
Loved it.
I have made this recipe twice. The first time, I heeded a suggestion from another cook to put the sauce on top of the pasta, and then top with cheese. This second time, I forgot to do that. I prefer to have lots of sauce on my pasta, and putting sauce on top of pasta would help with that. Also, I cut the recipe in half and felt it still needed more sauce. My additions: Basil, Bay leaf, Oregano, Thyme, Garlic pepper (or minced garlic), red wine. I used Sweet Italian sausage, sliced and then quartered. Bake covered for about an hour, then uncover the last 5 minutes. This will keep it from drying out. (Baking uncovered for 30 minutes made it a little dry for my taste.)
So easy to make and my family loved it! I did use more parmesan on the top…because who doesn’t love a bit more cheese. 🙂
It was fine. What I would do next time is add some minced garlic, a little white wine and some thyme.
This recipe is amazing as is. I made it according to the directions and loved it. I have also made it using a mixture of 16oz of Ricotta cheese , 1 egg beaten, 8 oz of Mozzarella and a 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan instead of the provolone and sour cream. Also made my own meat sauce
always sooooo good!
Super easy to make and tastes amazing! The whole family really enjoyed it!
My husband typically hates anything italian, but heloves this!. The only change I make is swishing the jars of sauce with a little pinot noir to get the last of the sauce and add a little richness
Another excellent dish. Very good and full of flavor!
