I know the simplest recipe for making these chocolate-covered strawberries. For a nicer appearance, white chocolate can be drizzled over milk chocolate. They are ideal for weddings, celebrations, and Valentine’s Day. Frost the cake and add bow ties, bells, butterflies, hearts, and other decorations.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Italian-style salad dressing
- ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup applesauce
- ¼ cup hot pepper sauce
- 1 lime, juiced
- 6 bone-in pork chops
Instructions
- Mix together the Italian dressing, Worcestershire sauce, applesauce, hot pepper sauce, and lime juice in a bowl. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, and refrigerate in marinade for 6 hours or overnight.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil the grate.
- Remove the chops from the marinade, and pour marinade into a saucepan. Bring the marinade to a boil over medium heat, and allow to boil for about 1 minute. Place the pork chops onto the preheated grill, and grill until well browned and no longer pink in the middle, about 6 minutes per side, basting the chops occasionally with the marinade. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Allow the marinade baste to cook completely onto the chops.

Great combination of flavors. Gotta plan ahead to marinate; poke the chops with a fork to let the goodness in before refrigerating. Left out the hot sauce because we don’t like it.
These were a big hit! The marinade is excellent! Since the grill was on, I put on split chicken breasts and baby back pork ribs and used the marinade- BADA BING for sure!!!!
they were delish!
I made the recipe as stated. It turned out just fine. I do not have any qualms with the recipe itself; however, I just wasn’t that thrilled with the overall taste. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t knock my socks off. I have other recipes for pork chops that I prefer more. Just a personal preference is all. I may, at some point, try this with chicken instead. I think I might prefer it more with a different protein.
Really good marinade, was great with both pork and chicken.
keeper, will make again
I made this for Sunday dinner. I did not have hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce. I substituted the hot sauce for barbecue sauce. The meat was flavorful and tender. The next time I will make sure to have Worcestershire sauce.
I used 1/2 ” boneless chops, browned and then slow simmered in the sauce. I used Mott’s applesauce with cinnamon and less Worcestershire. I used light Italian dressing and Franks hot sauce to taste. 1/4 cup or so. Simmered the chops on low for about 1 1/2 hours instead of grilling. Served with fresh Country green beans (recipe on All recipes too) and roasted red skin potatoes. Used the extra sauce for dipping Texas toast in. Husband and 16 year old son loved it! Said it was “nice restaurant quality”!
We had a menu change so ended up marinating these for a day and a half. I baked them in the marinade, covered, for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Very flavorful and juicy.
Used Siracha as the hot sauce. Only let it marinate about 3 hours. Worked great. The sauce was spicy enough that I was concerned my wife wouldn’t like it, but with the meat, it was perfect. Just a bit of heat, but not overwhelming.
Fabulous grill-centered dish. Makes a hero out of Dad
Loved it. Easy to put together. I only marinated for 5 hours and it was still flavoured.
absolutely delicious…..used it for my pork tenderloin and will definitely use next time we grill chops
no changes at all. every one enjoyed. they were wonderful.
FABULOUS recipe!
There are not enough stars to give to this phenomenal recipe. This recipe first caught my eye as the recipe of the day. That was my lucky day! I go back to it year after year. This just graced our 4th of July celebration. It was not the first year that it has played the lead role. To me, this is the best recipe that I have ever gotten from AllRecipes. I will say that I think it is gross to boil the marinade. Simply take out about 1/2 a cup for the grilling portion. Who wants to risk getting sick with boiling the marinade? Other than that one issue, an unprecedented success.
Followed recipe and marinated overnight. Grilled 6 minutes per side on medium grill. These were absolutely delish!!!! Chops were cooked perfectly. They were tender and the flavor was great!! Next time will cut the hot sauce and add some barbecue sauce. Will be making these again!!!!
This was good. I think I would add a few more things to spice it up a little more but it really is very tasty. Didn’t have a lime so went without. Thanks!
These are amazing! I’ve always been a little bored by pork chops, but not any more! They were devoured by my family. I used boneless chops that were ridiculously thick, so I cut them in half and marinaded for 24 hours. Heated sauce, basted with it, then reheated to serve with dinner. These were the best pork chops I’ve ever made. Thanks!
Wow, this is an incredible recipe. It is so favorable! I made it as directed and marinated overnight! Fantastic! Thanks!
Absolutely delicious and so easy. This will be a great dish for guests too.
