Great, though I would leave out the egg. Some people seem to be able to make it work, but egg always makes my burgers too moist. Otherwise great.

Makes the juiciest burgers EVERY single time!

Broiled on a cookie sheet lined with foil and a grate on top sprayed with cooking spray, added a tbsp breadcrumbs, next time I will make ahead and chill a bit, And try them on a grill. Deeelicious!

These burgers turned out amazing. My mother used to make hamburger patties with a slice of bacon wrapped around the edges. I was thinking about her when I went in search of such a recipe. This recipe is my mom’s on steroids! Absolutely delicious. I didn’t have Worcestershire or ketchup, so I substituted salsa.

Definitely going to try the suggestion on the egg next time and spray the grill with oil.

Bacon left meat undercooked. Too much onion! Basically grilled meatloaf.

EXCELLENT! The hamburger patties were very flavorable. I’m not an experience griller so for a beginner my family was very pleased. I followed the recipe just as instructed and I will definitely make it again.

Very tender, juicy, and tasty! We all really loved this burger. My husband did not enjoy cooking it. His complaint was that it was hard to get the bacon done without oercooking the beef. I made the patties small to fit small buns and used thick bacon. I recommend that you use thin bacon and/or precook it part way before you wrap the burger. The burger was a little crumbly. Wrapping the bacon over the top and bottom like an X ,instead of around the side helped to keep it together.

I did this on my T Fal grill. Was delicious

Grilled meatloaf and not particularly good meatloaf at that. Weak flavor, except for the bacon which overwhelmed the meatloaf patties.

These burgers are an absolute hit! Moist and tender. I’ve taken to making 5-6lb of meat, forming 5oz. patties, then freezing them. So easy to take out a few and have a wonderful meal. I’m tailgating in a few weeks, and will drop the size of the burgers to a “slider”, and grill them. Can hardly wait! 2018 – these are the hit of our tailgate parties! Make ahead and grill on the flat-top! Freeze uncooked leftovers, and they are still great! (I do leave out the bacon wrap, as it’s just not necessary.)

Made this as directed. Note, use thin bacon and you will NOT need the toothpicks. The lean meat needs the bacon juices and the thin bacon molds to the shape of the burger perfectly. Very tastey. Made it for the 4th of July party and ran out of burgers long before everyone was done with seconds. WOW! Never happened before! This is a keeper.

Not as juicy as I hoped they would be however they were good

I haven’t made this yet…tonight for dinner. however, reading the other reviews..i am going to take OUT the egg and add some italian bread crumbs..just to see if it holds together a little better …also i am going to precook the bacon, just a little to give it a headstart…make so its still flexable enough. So wish me luck and i will be back to share how it turned out!!! thanks

Love these burgers! My fiance bought thick cut bacon so just in case, he fried the bacon in a pan just for a few minutes to make sure it would be fully cooked along with the burger. Other than that, we made the recipe as stated. Delicious!

I didn’t make the burgers from this recipe, I just seasoned some burgers from Omaha Steaks (thanks mom and dad). I used 2 strips of bacon per burger with one toothpick each and was pleased to find out how well this worked. This is how I will make bacon burgers on the grill from now on.
