Ingredients:
- 1 pound lobster meat, cooked and deveined
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the lobster meat, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Brush the patties with olive oil.
- Grill the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the lobster is cooked through.
- Serve immediately.
Tips:
- You can use any type of lobster that you like. I used tail meat, but you could also use claw meat or knuckle meat.
- If you don’t have cheddar cheese, you can substitute another type of cheese, such as Monterey Jack cheese or Gruyère cheese.
- You can adjust the amount of mayonnaise to your liking. If you like your grilled lobster cheese more moist, you can add more mayonnaise.
- You can also add other herbs and spices to the mixture, such as chives, parsley, or tarragon.
Enjoy!
Here are some additional tips for making this dish:
- To prevent the patties from sticking to the grill, brush the grill grates with olive oil.
- To check if the patties are cooked through, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of a patty. The internal temperature should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the patties rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the patties.
