Great light taste refreshing on a blistering hot summer day. I love how natural it is.
It was so delicious I only used 1/4 a cup of honey and 3/4 cup of regular sugar, it still had the lovely honey flavor, but it wasn’t too sweet.
Although a refreshing drink, would take the word “lemonade” off of the recipe. Honey is the predominate flavor in this drink.
The Honey-ginger lemonade is delicious. I have made it several times, and everyone I serve it too just loves it, even the children.
Love this recipe! I like that the recipe calls for honey instead of sugar. The ginger is very complimentary to the lemons. We had company over and everyone loved it, including 3 young children. Buy fresh ginger and store what you don’t use in the freezer; it will keep for a long time.
i just caught the last part of this recipe on the show but it sounded so wonderful, came online to find it. one big question. i don’t keep fresh ginger in my kitchen, but have a jar of prepared ginger i use for cooking. Can you use that kind of ginger, perhaps just mixed in to the lemonade or must it be fresh and boiled?
This is in the fridge now getting chilled. It smells wonderful! Can’t wait to have a refreshing glass later. And all three ingredients are so healthy for you!
