This recipe for substantial, flavorful, vegetarian mushroom stew. I serve it over polenta, but you could also spoon it over rice, sweet potatoes, or mashed potatoes. Fresh herbs are a nice garnish.

Ingredients
- 4 fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
- ½ kiwi, chopped
- 1 ½ tablespoons white sugar
- ice cubes
- 1 ¾ fluid ounces cachaca
Instructions
- Place strawberries, kiwi, and sugar into a glass; mash well with a cocktail muddler. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour in cachaca; stir.
- A fork can be used to mash the fruit instead of a cocktail muddler.
