I’ve made this three times now, the family loves it.

This is a very good, easy, basic recipe as far as meat, sauce, and pasta go. I’ll be experimenting with seasonings to give it more pizazz. But it will definitely be on our menu again.

This dish was so easy to make and very tasty. I added corn and green beans to the mix just to have more vegetables, but they were not needed. Made a good soup and a great pasta meal the next day!

This was easy to prepare and tasty! I used ground turkey instead of beef and added chopped zucchini, peppers and spinach near the end of simmering. Also threw in more spices, red pepper flakes and chopped garlic. Skipped the mozzarella and just topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Thanks for the easy recipe!

As written, it’s okay. Will make again but reduce amount of pasta and water. Otherwise, it was a decent quick meal to make on a work night.

This was so simple and delicious. I didn’t have any whole peeled tomatoes so I substituted diced tomatoes. I also substituted Penney for the macaroni but next time I make it I will use the macaroni or another smaller pasta. It was still delicious.

2.4.21 This is a good base recipe, and I love the fact that it’s prepared in just one pan (easy cleanup), but it definitely needs seasoning. I easily can see for my taste adding some garlic powder, basil, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Would just recommend that you adapt to your taste preference, adding a few spices is really not a game changer for me. I had a few mushrooms in the fridge, so before adding the ground beef to the pan, I sautéed them, and removed from the skillet, otherwise, followed the recipe. The macaroni was not quite cooked after 20 minutes, so I added just a little water, took the pan off the heat, covered, and after about 5 minutes, all was good.

Love this recipe. We substitute tomato paste and extra water for the diced tomatoes (because of a picky child), and smother it with extra mozza cheese at the end. Simple and delicious for the whole family!

I’ve been making this for years, think I found the recipe on a package of Catelli pasta way back in the ’80’s. Instead of macaroni, I use rotini. It’s my go to when I get home late and need supper on the table quickly, it’s also my go to if someone drops by, and stays for supper. With a salad and some kind of nice bread or rolls, it perfect (although I use more that 1/2 cup mozza..I load it on) Everyone loves this simple meal.

I didn’t have onion soup mix so I fried onions and peppers, added 2 beef boullion cubes, used 2 -3 fresh tomatoes chopped, fresh grated parmesean cheese and everything else the same.

So simple and so delicious! I am a work in progress when it comes to cooking…this gives me hope!!!!

I made the full recipe for my husband and I. We loved it. Made it per recipe-it was easy to put together, in particular, because I did not feel well. He took leftovers for lunch. Will make again!!

I was seriously surprised! 5 stars for taste and ease! I just added 2 teaspoons “Beef Better than Bouillon” and I used rice noodles. I didn’t have mozzarella so I doubled the parmesan and WHAMO – tastes like lasagna. Family loved it and even the boys (who don’t like tomatoes) said “Wow, supper smells great!”

I’ve been making this for years. I found the recipe on the package of onion soup mix. When my two boys had their own families, I got the request from them for the recipe. It’s now a staple in all of our households. Easy to make while staying in time shares where kitchen pans are not always the best.

At first bite, my husband said “I LIKE it”! I made just a couple changes: replaced the onion soup mix with a sprinkling of garlic powder, maybe 1/8 tsp., used Farfalle pasta and the only canned tomatoes on hand — fire-roasted. The result was delicious!!

It was okay… thought it would be more flavorful, but it reminded me of Hamburger Helper (only fresher)
David Martinez
This recipe deserves 5 stars for simplicity, taste and versatility! I made a couple minor changes but nothing that would entirely change the recipe. Will definitely be making again! Thank you!

Great recipe!! Will make this again. Added mushrooms and used beef broth instead of water. The family loved it too. Thank you for sharing.
