I’m about to make it with some extra additions to it but the only problem is that the directions weren’t very clear. How long in the ice cream machine? Whisk it together on heat? Things like that. Over all this looks like a good recipe.

May I ask if you freeze it or just put in Fridge over night and then put in ice cream churned

It was fantastic. I added chocolate mint pieces to it when it was almost finished. Yummy!!! I used a Kitchen Aid ice cream attachment to make it, worked great.

I changed the recipe slightly by adding 3 cups heavy cream and 1 cup of the whole milk and it tastes amazing.  I will definitely be using this recipe as a go-to-base for other flavors.

I had some coffee milk on hand so used 1 cup of that and 1 cup of whole milk. DELICIOUS! This ice cream is so easy to make that I may stop buying the commercial stuff entirely. May try 1 cup of strawberries next and peach season is just around the corner.

Easy enough and fast enough for the kids to do on their own!

Excellent recipe for ice cream with out having to use eggs. I did cook the milk and the sugar together so the sugar would dissolved. I let it cool and then combined it with the rest of the ingredients and let it chill overnight. Then put it in the ice cream maker (I have the attachment for the kitchen aid) and it came out perfect. So creamy and delicious.
