This recipe was very good. The sweet/salty combination was a perfect balance and made for a great ending to my meal. My family enjoyed it equally as well (even the next day).

I made this recipe but it’s not real butterscotch. This is more like syrup with butter floating around the top. After I made it and tasted it, I let it cool and added it to the Mama Cassie’s [Neely’s recipe] syrup I already had in the refrigerator. Turned out as very tasty. The addition of bourbon gives a nice flavor. This is great on pancakes and waffles but NOT ice cream sundaes. For that I want the REAL deal which takes a lot more time and effort but well worth it. At this point, I would definitely recommend it as a syrup but definitely a zero rating for real butterscotch.

awesome recipe! had to have it the moment i seen it on the show. One slight problem. Pat and Gina made a pecan crunch they put as a garnish. I totally want that recipe and can’t find it anywhere! Very disappointing
