Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup hazelnut-flavored liquid creamer
- 8 ounces milk chocolate morsels
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
- 2 ounces whiskey, such as Woodford Reserve
- Chocolate syrup or hot fudge topping, for garnish
- Crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, for garnish
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Finely chopped toasted hazelnuts, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Add the milk and creamer to a medium pot and heat over medium-low heat until warm. Add the chocolate morsels and cinnamon sugar and whisk to melt the chocolate. When everything is blended and warm, add the whiskey and remove from the heat.
- Moisten the rim of 2 mugs with chocolate syrup or hot fudge and coat with the crushed cookies. Drizzle more syrup or fudge inside the mug and add the hot chocolate. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of hazelnuts.

Delicious! This is something wonderful to have 1-2 times a year; like a holiday or birthday. 1184 calories is too much, at least for me!

This is pretty amazing. I am not a whiskey drinker, but it’s perfect in this recipe. I bought a bar of milk chocolate from the grocery store and chopped it up — it was great! Sweet, but not too sweet.
