This is aewsomely great. I had o adjust some measurements to suit my taste and love it. I did it for a family get together and will do it again for a school fund raising before Christmas. THANK YOU!

Excellent! My whole family raved over this hot chocolate. I doubled the recipe minus 2 cups of milk and a cup of heavy cream. I also added a bit more sugar. It took longer than 1.5 hours to get hot enough, you may need to adjust for more time. Use a crock pot liner for easy clean up. So good!

I’m giving two stars because it wasn’t horribly awful or it didn’t taste bad. But I’m the girl who loves chocolate and sweets. I thought maybe the other reviewers maybe liked their hot cocoa on the more milky side, but no. This is way too much. It’s way sweeter than just rich, it’s just overkill. I made this for a 10 and 14 y/o, hubby and myself and nobody could finish it. Nobody even got halfway. Pro: house smelled great while it was cooking, Con: had to throw out 🙁

Bottom line, NO I would not recommend

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but in this case….I have to. I went by the recipe and it was so sweet that it was literally not drinkable. My family members would pour it out as soon as they took the first sip. I ended up pouring it down the drain. I hate wasting anything but I will never make this again….sorry.

I made it for a NYE backyard gathering. This  was way to chocolatey!!!!  I added lots extra milk and then ended up throwing so much out. It was nice not having to worry about burning the milk.
