Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 4 ounces good-quality semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 3 ounces peppermint schnapps, optional
- 2 full-size marshmallows, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the milk and the peppermint extract in a medium saucepan. Heat until the milk is just starting to simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate until melted and combined. Add the schnapps if using.
- Serve in mugs topped a marshmallow.
