Though vodka is a more traditional choice for a chocolate martini, this version opts for spicy, earthy rye whiskey, which brings out different flavor notes from the chocolate liqueur. Make sure to whip the cream topping just until thickened, but before it holds any peaks, so it will sit perfectly on top of the cocktail.
