Love this salad! A healthier, fresher twist on a Waldorf salad. You won’t be disappointed!
DELICIOUS! Worth the effort!
Made this as a side dish (the entree was also a new recipe for me) and ended up liking this so much more. It’s unbelievably yummy. I made a half batch and had more than plenty of it leftover to snack on for a few days.
Delicious!
Fabulous … and simple! I bought too many walnuts at Trader Joe’s and this recipe was perfect. I added a little honey to the vinaigrette. The whole thing was fresh, crunchy, sweet, tart, salty, spicy … what a combo! Try it.
A great twist on a Waldorf-like salad. Wonderful combination of flavors and very fresh tasting. Husband loved it.
We love this recipe. I don’t even ask what to bring to family dinners anymore, I know I’ll be ask for this. It’s delicious. Thanks Sunny!
Very fresh tasting, totally enjoyed it. I omitted salt and pepper and oil, but loved it.
Sunny’s No Ho Hum Holiday show has given us an entirely new family tradition: her Butterflied Cornish Game Henswith Sage Butter as an entree, this salad as a fetured side and Mini Espresso Cakes with Peanut Butter Icing for dessert. Everyone has their own “birds” and their own individual cakes – they love it! I tried it one year and now it is a MUST.
This salad is sweet, tart, crisp and delicious. It is similar to a Waldorf Salad, but the pears add a nice change. It is colorful and festive. It also refrigerates well.
I made this for a friend’s Sukkot party to rave reviews and will be serving it for our Thanksgiving feast as well. The only change I make is to substitute dried cranberries for the raisins.
It’s a great, fresh, light harvest salad… Delicious!
