Very good made this to go with Katie’s burgers with black beans and carrots and broccoli. Excellent combination
Nearly every European restaurant offers their House Dressing with salad and no substitutions. Here we call it Ranch. Its always made from yogurt and garlic. I love this version of the classic house dressing! Highly recommended!
This is excellent. That being said, I did modify slightly by adding some parsley. But I often modify recipes to my taste if I am comfortable with the basic ingredients. I usually think that if the base recipe is good, then with my modifications it will still be good. That is certainly the case with this dressing. Good way to use up the bits of mayo, yogurt, etc in the bottom of the containers. I like Ellie’s recipes. I am glad they are still available here. I go to them several times a month. If not for the exact recipe, for a way to modify to be a little healthier.
This is really good dressing– I should say, however, I didn’t have the yogurt so I used sour cream. This sort of eliminates the “healthy” part, but still, it’s good. So tasty.
I substituted sour cream for the yogurt (didn’t have any) and it turned out wonderful!
This ranch dressing is so good. I love the “tangy-ness” of it: I made it or a family gathering for as a salad dressing, and a fresh veggie dip, and “even the very picky” crowd loved it. It has such a good flavor and very easy to make. Followed the recipe as is, and used greek yogurt.
It’s definately a keeper. Thanks Ellie! No more ranch dressing from the store again.
Tasty! Whole family loves it! Thanks for a ranch dressing w/o all the preservatives! We miss Ellie Kreiger on the FN!
Taste great, our favorite ranch recipe soe far. Have made it twice already.
I chose this recipe because it is healthier than some of the others. Liked it and will make it again. Thanks!
Loved it. Used plain, unsweetened Kefir instead of buttermilk. Very healthy and low cal if I did not match correctly.
