Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  2. 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  3. 1/3 cup almond milk
  4. 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  5. 2 teaspoons softened cream cheese
  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  7. 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
  8. Toppings: crushed gingersnaps, grated orange zest, pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients except toppings in a jar or other container with a tightly fitting lid and give them a good stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 5 hours. In the morning, add additional liquid if you’d like. Once you achieve the desired consistency, add the toppings.

No one in my family cared for this recipe at all. I feel like there’s way too much pumpkin and the ratio is off. It just didn’t taste good.

This is my first time making overnight oats, and I am glad I made this one! Freaking delicious! I have been spending too much money on breakfast every morning because I don’t like cooking first thing in the morning and haven’t found anything that I like that is quick and easy.
