Ingredients
- One 6-ounce package lime-flavored gelatin, such as Jell-O
- 6 limes
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup club soda
- 1 cup citrus vodka
Instructions
- Cut the limes in half from end to end. With a sharp knife, carefully cut around the inside of each lime and then scoop out the flesh. Remove the membrane from the inside of the lime peel.
- Line a 12-cup cupcake tin with foil. Place a lime half, cut-side up, in each cup.
- Empty the package of gelatin into a medium bowl. Pour over the boiling water and mix well, making sure the gelatin dissolves completely. Whisk in the club soda and citrus vodka, skimming the foam if needed.
- Pour the gelatin mixture into each lime half. Refrigerate until set, 2 to 4 hours.
- When set, cut each lime in half to make wedges.

Yummy
I made these and followed all the steps. Mine didn’t set. Left in fridge for 24 hours and they were still liquid.
Ok. Great idea and so cute. However, mine didn’t set? I made them 2 Times! I won’t give up… any suggestions?
Love this !! I do agree it was hard to get the flesh separated but once if was done they turned out awesome ! I made these for my anniversary trip !
These turned out SUPER cute for our Super Bowl party! Not gonna lie, scooping out the center of all the oranges was a chore, and some of them didn’t work because I accidentally punctured the skin so all the liquid jello ran out in the fridge, but after a little finesse with my paring knife, the set orange slices turned out looking good. I didn’t use any of the sparkling water because I didn’t have any, so I used 2.5 cups of boiling water to 1.5 cups of good vodka. They set perfectly.
