Easy, fast, yummy. I only had the big marshmallows so I snipped them in half and it worked great. This recipe is super easy to double or triple too. SO HAPPY!

Nice and simple but my marshmallow burnt. May be my oven not sure. I may bake and then put marshes on for last 10 minutes next time

Added pecans so very good.

Great tasting and simple. The only thing is that the 29 ounce can is too small for 6 people. I used a 40 oz can of sweet potatoes for 5 people and really could’ve added more. A 40 oz can filled a 9″x9″ pan (523 cm2) and was just under 1″ deep.

I made this early in the day to take to family dinner. I used 7med. sized fresh yams, peeled, cubed & boiled them. After cooling down I shredded the butter over them, very lightly dusted with cinnamon (prob less than 1/8tsp), salted them and sprinkled brown sugar. Later that day warmed it in the oven then added the marshmellows & baked at 375 til golden. DELISH!

I added a little less sugar and juice from half of a navel orange. Orange juice from a carton works too. Not too much. Just enough to give it a hint of orange flavor.

I prefer this recipe as I don’t care to ‘mush’ up the yams. It gets too much like baby food. 😉

Good recipe.

This is a good general starting point, as another reviewer pointed out. I always use fresh sweet potatoes and bake them ahead of time for about an hour-ish at 400 depending on size. I use real butter and brown sugar, but I also add a little cinnamon and a bit of cloves. The additional spices make a big difference and add some depth to the flavor. The marshmallows are a must, nice and toasty on top.

I added a dash of cinnamon, 1/2 cup of Kraft caramel bits, 1/2 cup Ghirardelli classic white chips. Covered in tiny marshmallows! Picture about 16 mins at 400°f. Not done all the way. Going to scrape marshmallows off and finish cooking lol.

This is a great recipe, but I melt the butter in a pan, add the brown sugar and stir until smooth. I also add a 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. Pour over sweet potatoes, top with marshmallows then bake. Delicious!

It is good. For ingredients I used about 2 cans of 15 oz of the yams sweet potatoes to add extra for me and my family.

This recipe was so good and easy. The brown sugar didn’t go all through the sweet potatoes, so the next time, I mixed the brown sugar in the yams and added cinnamon and mixed it up and then covered it with marshmallows like the recipe and it was marvelous.

400°F for 25 minutes is no bueno.. marshmallows came out burnt AF. Try 400°F 11 or 12 minutes
