Delectable sticky buns! A warm sticky bun makes the perfect brunch treat or late-night treat. To make them taste like they just came out of the oven, quickly heat one in the microwave.

Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins
Total Time: 25 mins
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  1. 1 head garlic
  2. aluminum foil
  3. 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  4. ¼ teaspoon salt
  5. ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Cut the top off the head of garlic and place on a square piece of aluminum foil. Bring the foil up and around garlic. Pour olive oil on top and season with salt and pepper. Close ends of foil over garlic, creating a pouch.
  3. Air fry until garlic is soft, 16 to 20 minutes. Open the foil pouch very carefully, as hot steam will escape.

I cooked it for the recommended amount of time and the garlic was still hard. I cooked it for an additional 7 minutes and it was still hard. I am now cooking it for an additional 15 minutes. I followed the instructions exactly.

So easy and great for everyday cooking.

It should tell you what setting to cook it at. eg. air fry, roast,or bake. I really had to watch it. It was really good. Adele Roberts

Excellent! Add to a salad to, as they say, take it to the next level.

Roasting the garlic in the air fryer was genius. I prepped the garlic as per the directions. It took 20 minutes in my 1300 watt air fryer. I added the entire bulb to a stick of softened butter with fresh ground kosher salt and pepper, fresh parsley and fresh thyme to make a delicious compound butter. Can’t wait to try it on some beautiful grilled beef tenderloins tomorrow night!

I followed the instructions and the garlic was very creamy, but a little bit bitter. Not sure what i did wrong. Will try it again

18 min in my air fryer for 2 bulbs individually wrapped. Quick and easy. I use this recipe at least 2x a month. The garlic comes out very mild and buttery. I eat as is or add to cream cheese for baguette or bagels. great with Alfredo too.

The garlic took over 40 minutes in my air fryer, but once cooked through, it was very tasty. Very good recipe. Next time I’d like to try it using elephant garlic.
