Ingredients
- 1/2 to 1 cup ripe strawberries, rinsed, stems intact
- 1 sprig fresh mint
- 2 to 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup sour cream or creme fraiche
Instructions
- Put the strawberries in a serving dish and garnish with the mint. Put the sugar and sour cream in two separate small dishes or ramekins. Serve. To eat, dip the strawberries first in the sugar and then into the sour cream.

I’ve been doing this for years and people request it when they come over now. Simplest little treat you can make, but it’s always a huge hit. (Very sensual if cooking for two as well.) 😉
