Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 14- to 16-ounce container vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup vanilla malt powder, plus more for sprinkling
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberries, plus more, crushed, for topping
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Fresh strawberries, for topping
Instructions
- Simmer the strawberries in a saucepan with the sugar and 2 tablespoons water, stirring, until thickened, 6 to 8 minutes. Let cool.
- Transfer the mixture to a blender and add the ice cream, malt powder, milk and freeze-dried strawberries; blend until smooth. Divide between 2 glasses.
- Top each milkshake with whipped cream, malted milk powder, crushed freeze-dried strawberries and a fresh strawberry.
