Ingredients
- 4 small yellow or white meringues
- 4 shots limoncello liqueur, plus 1 shot for riming glasses
- 4 shots vanilla vodka (recommended: Smirnoff)
- 1/2 cup lemonade
Instructions
- In a plastic food storage bag, crush the meringues with a rolling pin or your hands. Put the crumbs onto a plate and pour some water onto another plate. Put a shot of the limoncello in a small plate. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the limoncello, shaking off any excess, then into the meringue crumbs. Repeat with 3 more glasses and set aside while you make the drink.
- In a pitcher filled with ice, pour in the 4 shots of limoncello, the vodka and the lemonade and stir. Strain the drink evenly into the 4 prepared glasses and serve.

Although I should have realized this by the name, this is definitely a dessert martini. Many of my guests did not finish or switched to something else. Suggest it be served only as a dessert.
If you can’t find the lemon drop sugar you can use lemon drop candy and just crush it to rim the glass
Very refreshing drink but would love to know where to buy lemon drop sugar as previous comment suggested that sounds amazing as well.
We tried this and liked it but we found using whipped cream vodka by Pinnacle made it awesome. We used lemon drop sugar for the rim.
