I made these and thought they were very tasty (and super easy. The frozen grapes are a great idea — they’re fun and keep the drink cold without watering it down. I do have to say that I cannot understand how anyone could find these “too strong.” Once you add the lemon juice, the ratio of alcohol to juice is about 1:2, which is far weaker than a regular martini, which is 100% alcohol (and often features 90+ proof gin.

Great drink Giada!!! We love vodka martinis!, so this was a big hit especially for people that are not used to drinking martinis!!! Thanks,
William Stuart
The drink tastes good, but it’s farrrrrr too strong to serve to anyone who is going to leave your house. I served it at a party, but I used less vodka and added a little simple syrup.

I have always loved rum, but when I saw this episode it seem very refreshing. I did not use any sugar on the rim of the glass but the drink was great. Thanks for a new drink
