Ingredients
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup half-and-half
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 pint blackberries
- 1/2 pint blueberries
- 1/2 pint raspberries
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Once melted, add the sugar and half-and-half, and stir until well blended. Stir in the butter and vanilla extract until the sauce is smooth and glossy.
- Line up four small bowls or glasses, and place a dollop of the chocolate sauce in each. Evenly divide the blackberries, blueberries and raspberries between the four bowls. Top each with 2 tablespoons of the chocolate sauce, and serve.

Reviews
This was a great, easy dessert. Next time I would halve the amount of chocolate sauce. There was a LOT of sauce for not that many berries and the sauce overwhelmed the berries. The combination of flavors, though, was, terrific, so we’ll be making again, with less chocolate sauce.
