My husband loves this! He says it’s better than Sonic.

Good but very sweet. Next time, I’ll cut back on the sugar. The grand kiddos and enjoying a special beverage for Thanksgiving.

Made this exactly to recipe.  Too much lime.

Tasty Cherry Limeade. However, the way I made it consists of homemade maraschino cherries using real cherries and some juice alongside, xylitol, a cinnamon stick, lemon juice, water, almond and vanilla extract. In place of a lemon-lime soda, I use Zevia Ginger Ale and xylitol in place of sugar. To make the soda pop less flat and unless I make some for a party, I just make each ingredient separate until I make some for myself or for a friend.

EWWW. Just way to much sugar. It’s just all sweet, with no zip from the limes.

3 suggestions

Heat lime juice and sugar together to make a syrup let it cool a little 1 cup each
Also add cherry juice (tart) 1/2 cup
16 oz maraschino cherries juice and all
Serve one glass at a time to keep the fizz
Pour your syrup, cherries juice and maraschino cherries and their juice in a pitcher, keep soda separate
Mix one glass at a time, about an inch or so in the bottom of your glass with ice then top off with your favorite lemon lime soda.  You may have to adjust a little till you get the right mix but it’s well worth it.  Thanks for a great treat you can enjoy one glass at a time keep the cherry mixture in the fridge. I even use small bottles so my sprite doesn’t go flat.
