Berries with Limoncello and Basil

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 pint blackberries, rinsed and dried
  2. 1/2 pint blueberries, rinsed and dried
  3. 1/2 pint raspberries, rinsed and dried
  4. 1/2 pint strawberries, rinsed and dried, stemmed and quartered
  5. 4 shots limoncello, chilled
  6. 6 fresh basil leaves, cut into ribbons

Instructions

  1. Lightly mix together the blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries in a large bowl. Portion the berries into 6 small dessert bowls or glasses. Add a shot of limoncello to each. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours to allow the berries to macerate in the liquid.
  2. Just before serving, garnish with basil.
