Ingredients

  1. 3 pounds sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean
  2. Olive oil, for drizzling
  3. Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, for sprinkling
  4. Paprika, for sprinkling
  5. Garlic powder, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and line a rimmed sheet pan with foil. Cut the ends off the potatoes, then cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. Cut into thick wedges, keeping all of the fries evenly sized. Spread the fries on the lined sheet pan and drizzle with a few tablespoons of olive oil, a big pinch of kosher salt and lots of freshly ground pepper. Sprinkle to taste with paprika and garlic powder and toss everything to evenly coat. Roast until brown and crispy on the bottoms, 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Flip all the fries, and return them to the oven to roast until they are brown and crispy, another 10 to 15 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving

Amazing!! I love this simple recipe.  My husband doesn’t like sweet potatoes but, he couldn’t stop eating these.  Thank you, Nancy!!!!

OMG these were amazing except I added sugar on top of mines. When I took my fries out they looked crispy on the outside but when I bit into it it was like a sweet baked potato. I didn’t mind they were delicious. I’m not sure if they were suppose to be crispy when I bit into them. Anyways I love this recipe it was delicious and easy .

Yummy, but not necessarily crispy. They taste great when dipped in a feta dip

This was great.  I did add just a touch of brown sugar.   put all in bowl and tossed.  Dipped in homemade remoulade sauce.  Very good!!

Quick and easy recipe. Love watching Nancy’s show every Saturday morning. Thought this be a recipe my family would like. The first time I made sweet potatoe wedges and they were great. The next time I used russet potatoes and the boys in the household loved them! now my family keeps asking for them. The seasoning is great!

I am not the biggest fan of Nancy (she’s gotta earn my attention!) but this recipe is delish, easy, and nutritious. She is very clear on how to get the results (crisp not soggy, limp) you want and I have made these several times. Watch them at about 20 minutes to make sure they are the consistency you desire.
