I’ve never given a low rating because I think that anyone that is willing to share their treasured recipes with the world should get credit. My mom is one of those that likes to keep her secret recipes “SECRET”, sharing them only with her kids, so I’m always grateful when someone is willing to share. However, this was so disappointing. No taste other than the weird taste it gave to the fajitas. I ended up grabbing a package of taco seasoning I had up in the cupboard and added a sprinkle or two just to give it some different taste to mask it a little. I do think though that the marinade would be fine if I were just bbqing a steak because it did make the meat very tender but a good spicy fajita it was not!! SORRY but thank you so much for giving me a tenderizer recipe that I will use this summer.

This recipe had flavor but it needed something a bit more to kick my tastebuds into overdrive.
