My family loved this idea. but i did make a change, i did use fresh veggies because we really hate the frozen ones. but im sure it was just as good as doing it with frozen. so try it made both ways. very good recipe

I made two of these – one with the beef strips and did one with chicken strips, my family preferred the chicken. It was just like eating pizza in a restaurant, hot, fresh and delicious. Have made it several different ways since, using ground beef seasoned with taco sauce etc…my family can’t get enough of this recipe!

Good recipe, loved the flavors. Used fresh peppers and garlic, caramelized some onions, used Garden Fresh Jack’s Special Salsa with a little lime zest and juice (delicious!) Used some flank steak thinly sliced for the meat. Also, sliced some fresh avocado to put on at the end which gave it an awesome touch to flavor. Dough was a little bit soft, perhaps due to too much salsa or not enough oven time. Overall, an easy recipe that can be modified many ways and will definitely be repeated again in the hopes of an even better pie.

My family REALLY enjoyed this recipe. Have made again since initial trial and we love it. Added to the recipe repertoire for our regular menu. We used fresh red & orange peppers and added onions but past that it was the orginal recipe. Other reviewers have suggested some alternatives like chicken and will try those as well.

Two thumbs up for the Beef Fajita pie. I made the stove-top version of the recipe and it was delicious and easy. Even my normally finicky husband gave this a rave review. We passed on the guac, but I used a spicy salsa verde as the “sauce” and it was extremely flavorful.

I loved this!! I will definately make this again. A great casual and fun dinner when hanging with friends on your deck. I used the Boboli whole wheat crust and it was perfect. Based on another reviewer, I also served this with the Sandra’s “Best Black Beans”. Great suggestion, was wonderful I used homemade guacamole and served it on the side. You really do need the guac, I think.

This was literally so good I’m still thinking about it – and we had it for dinner about a week ago! I used chicken instead of beef and fajita seasoning packets instead of taco. I also used a fresh yellow, green, and red bell peppers. I cooked everything indoors (just seemed easier). The left overs were just as good the second night! We ate this with her “Best Black Beans” recipe. YUMMMMM!!

This recipe was awesome my husband loved it and he is usually kinda picky, everyone ate it all, next time i will have to make 2 pizzas, only chnges i made was put the sour cream on the side because my kids would use it as a scapegoat if i topped it off with it. I will be making it at my next birthday party.
