My dad, who has always been a fantastic teacher and cook, taught me how to make creamy chicken Alfredo. My all-time favorite food was chicken Alfredo. The fact that you have to make your own sauce for a lot of the recipes I see that are worthwhile is too much labor, and the ones that don’t require you to make your own sauce lack flavor. With the help of this recipe, you can transform store-bought sauce into something that would pass for restaurant-quality.

Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- 2 squares Land O’Lakes® Teriyaki Saute Express®
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- ½ cup cashews
- 3 green onions, diagonally cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 (8 inch) flour tortillas, warmed
Instructions
- Combine cabbage and carrots in a bowl; set aside.
- Melt teriyaki squares in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat just until bubbles begin to form. Add chicken; cook, stirring occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink in center, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add cashews and green onions; cook and stir until heated through, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Place 1/4 of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla; top with cabbage mixture. Fold 2 opposite sides of tortilla over filling. Starting at an open end, roll up tightly to enclose filling.
- You can substitute 1 1/2 cups packaged Asian slaw for cabbage and carrots.

Delicious, fast and everyone liked it! Definitely a keeper!
They were average. Probably won’t make again.
went together very well. Watching the video before hand sure helped though. The second time around was better for me achieving the wrap. Good stuff and easy.
I substituted Great Value teriyaki sauce and added some garlic powder and let the chicken marinate like 15 minutes while I made white rice. I used lettuce from a bag of salad I had on hand. I also put some white rice in the tortillas to make it more filling for my teenagers. They loved it! Super easy and quick!!
Excellent as written, and also a great way to use leftover chicken! I don’t think the packets are made anymore (at least, not available in my area), but teriyaki sauce will do the trick!
Loved the sauce and how juicy the chicken was.
sorry me and my family just didnt enjoy this one
Easy and yummy. The only change I made was using a whole grain sandwich wrap. Will definitely make again.
This was fantastic. Did not need to change a thing.
wish they still made this flavor sauteed butter. To replace just mix a tablespoon or more mixed in with melted butter. Not the same but work.
loved it
Hard to rate this exact recipe, as I didn’t use the main ingredient: Teriyaki sauce starter. However, it was tasty the way we had it. I made a sauce of half a stick of butter, teriyaki sauce, some sesame oil, shredded ginger, and a little minced garlic. I used a tad too much teriyaki sauce and got a slightly too salty result, but overall it was really good. Besides the sauce, I followed the recipe. My husband really liked it.
Yummy! I melted an extra sauté express block for some extra sauce!
So quick, easy, and tasty! I substituted dry coleslaw mix (Marketside) in place of the cabbage and carrots and yellow onion instead of green ones. I added an extra splash of Teriyaki sauce to keep it juicy while cooking. Basically threw in what I had to make it work and it still came out great.
Straight delicious. Recommend.
