These tasty ketogenic chicken fritters are juicy on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. This quick weeknight supper is sure to please the whole family. They taste fantastic on their own, on top of a salad, or wrapped in lettuce and drizzled with garlic aioli. To suit your tastes, experiment with the cheese and seasonings!

Prep Time: 15 mins
Total Time: 15 mins
Servings: 8

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  2. ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  3. ½ cup butter
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. ½ teaspoon salt
  6. 2 tablespoons milk
  7. ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  8. ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. To heat-treat your flour so it is safe to use: Place flour in a microwave-safe dish and cook for 1 minute and 15 seconds, stirring it every 15 seconds. Set aside.
  2. Beat sugar and butter with an electric mixer in a large bowl until creamy. Beat in vanilla extract and salt. Add heat-treated flour; mix until a crumbly dough forms. Stir in milk until dough is just combined; fold in milk chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips.
  3. There is a potential risk of foodborne illness from the consumption of raw flour. Follow Step 1 to heat-treat your flour so it is safe to use. If you do not have a microwave, spread flour out on a baking sheet and toast in an oven at 350 degrees F for 5 to 6 minutes.

Makes a very slurry batch of edible dough. Decent flavor but it needs help. Gonna add flour to see if it helps!!!!

It’s really good if you put it in the fridge until the next day btw how many calories?
Elizabeth Campbell
havent done it yet but im excited to do this at the lunch table with my friends.

I had to put wayy more flour than needed because it was so liquidy. i double checked the ingredients so i know i didn’t make it wrong. It’s more of a batter and i don’t even know what to do with it.
David Carr
it’s very good but it had a odd aftertaste
Michael Johnson
It’s good but don’t add so much salt.
Shannon Morrison
Love it so much, but some parts you need to mix with a fork!

It was amazing. What I like to do is eat it frozen and it’s delicious. Thanks for the great recipe!
Amanda Bird
Delicious, satisfied a craving. Thanks for the instructions to heat the flour.

I cooked it before, but instead of using microwave or heat-treating flour in oven, I used stove-top pan, and low fire just enough not to burn the flour. It’s just like cooking polvoron, except in our polvoron we add powdered milk and sugar when toasting it just search “polvoron” so you’ll know what I mean

Haven’t tasted yet, to me it looks and smells delicious, going to let cool off in the refrigerator for a bit as I melted the butter on stovetop, took off heat and mixed in brown sugar before adding to the other ingredients in a separate bowl, pretty new to baking and this seems to work very well for me. Edit: Tasted delicious, wanted to mention I didn’t use milk and added a bit more vanilla extract than what was called for.

i created an account just to say that this was so wet even after adding more flour to the dough. at that point it wasn’t even dough, it was batter because it was so liquidy.

amazing! superr delicious, and for the people saying the measurments were off are kinda cuckoo lol because it tasted amazing and everything was perfect, however it was a little salty but I loved that hehe

The milk messed it up (the texture)just a bit, but to be fair it was probably my fault. Yummy 2am snack, will do again but with less milk. (I’ll update tomorrow(if i can) on how it is after being in the fridge for a night)

It’s really good!! I made it with my friend Olivia and I thought it was a bit odd we had to add a whole stick of butter was too much so we dumped half of the flour and used the rest of the measurements from the recipe and it came out amazing!!
Joseph Anderson
It was so good I halved the recipe as it was only me having it but I added extra vanilla because that’s how I like it

I looked at so many other recipes for some amazing chocolate chip cookie dough and this is by far the best recipe to make. When I make this for my family is turns out perfect everytime.

dont really bother with this recipe, the measurements are way off and it tasted horrible, couldn’t finish a spoonful either get it store-bought or follow a different recipe
Joseph May
This is a family favorite!

Tastes a bit powdery because i made it another way. I just mixed it in a bowl but it still came out fine. I did not have chocolate chips so i just put hershey chocolate syrup and m&ms. And for the salt just add a pinch like 4 or 5 specs.
