Really enjoyed these. Kept to the recipe except didn’t have feta so used some Swiss/Gruyère along with the cheddar. Will try with feta next time as I do like it. Pan fried in iron skillet instead of grill, it was pouring outside.
These are crazy good! Made it per the recipe, but added Wicker’s Jalepeno Glaze at the end. I have also done with Turkey. Makes great sliders.
Absolutely fabulous!!! My ground pork was a bit watery so I added a half cup of Italian bread crumbs
Great recipe! Made it the first time as written then changed it up a bit the second time. I added 1lb of ground chicken since I didn’t have enough ground pork. I also added chopped red pepper and fresh Italian parsley. Used both white onion and green onion and omitted the cheddar cheese. Great either way!
These burgers were moist and delicious. The only thing I did different… I added finely diced jalapeños & onion that I sautéed before adding them to the mixed pork. The Worcester, Chuolulas hot sauce, French feta cheese, salt and pepper. I also went light on the salt because of the saltiness of the cheese. I will definitely be making these again, thank you!
Didn’t want to fire up the charcoal grill so baked in the oven. Heavenly! This will be a regular in our grill list! Added a few more red pepper flakes to spice it up a bit…
It may have been my ground pork, I don’t often use it on it’s own, but these burgers were really greasy, the amount of fat left in the pan was really exessive.
These are absolutely delicious! The only thing I did different, was add Mexican cheese mix because that is what I had on hand. Family loved these!
I am giving a 5 despite the fact that i did make two changes (feta was not in the house and husband can’t handle heat). Otherwise, followed recipe and it was fantastic. The burger was very moist and flavorful. Will definitely make again and report back if any changes to the fact that its so freaking good.
Made the recipe with no changes. Just had two of my hogs butchered, dug up some fresh garlic this week, and made this for Sunday lunch. Delicious and used 3lbs of the 500 in my freezer!
Made these and everyone loved them! I didnt put onion or cheddar and added chopped spinach. I may actually start buying ground pork just for this recipe!
I did not make any changes to this recipe. It was absolutely delicious!
I made only one change, I substituted bbq sauce for hot sauce. They were super tasty and juicy burgers. Only 2 of us, so had enough to freeze several burgers for another time. Cooked on a bbq with a non-stick mat. Came out perfect.
Excellent recipe! Easy to make and even my youngest who can be picky loved it…ground pork is always on sale so its affordable too. Served with mayo, mustard, sweet onion slices and tomato…
Made this tonight to use up some ground pork (we buy hogs by the quarter). Didn’t use the feta and put the cheddar on at the end because I had pre-sliced cheese. Oh my – were these good! Great flavor combination and very juicy and flavorful. Cooked to medium (which is usually not my comfort zone – prefer medium rare) the burger was fabulous! Put in the freezer for about 10 minutes before cooking to ensure that they held together, Thanks for the great way to use ground pork!
Great flavor. My teenager requested that these be served regularly.
We really enjoyed these burgers. I was worried that pork burgers would be tougher than beef, but they were not. They had flavor and were juicy. The feta cheese helped to take them to the top of my recipe file.
Had to come back and favorite this! My entire family from 8 years old to 50 enjoyed these burgers and commented how good they were.
Very good. Just have to watch the meat to make sure it’s cooked thru but not overcooked.
I made these burgers for a freezer meal exchange and all the participants and their families loved them! The only change was subbing smoked Gouda for the feta. Otherwise I followed the recipe as written and froze them . I grilled them fresh, from frozen, and defrosted. They were great!
I will make it again
