White Sangria

  4.5 – 45 reviews  • Mixed Drink Recipes
This sangria takes five to 10 minutes to assemble in a large pitcher. Take the time to prepare it in the morning so the sangria has several hours to develop its fruity flavor. Pull it out when dinner is ready to serve that evening.

Great!

This is my favorite White Sangria recipe! You can empty out your fruit produce drawer – oranges, grapefruits, plums, berries, etc. In the summer I use Peach Brandy and in the fall I use Calvados apple brandy. Yum!!!

Excellent light refreshing drink. Served it with shrimp, chicken kabobs and grilled vegetables. Great pairing.

This drink is one of our favorites! That is why we decided to add it to our list of the Best Mixed Drinks http://www.listsforall.com/best-mixed-drink-recipes/ Good job!

Modified this a bit and it was nice and refreshing (just sweet enough–but I don’t like things too sweet):

-1.5 L Sauvignon Blanc
-6 shots of Triple Sec
-2 apples
-4 tbsp sugar
Kept everything else as is!

Way too much fruit for I bottle of wine. Also, after sitting, the bitterness of the lemon and lime rinds tinged the sangria with an unpleasant undertaste. I agree with JoBenny that the recipe as written is no where near a 5. I went ahead and made it without reading the reviews based on the high ratings it got with modifications. I won’t make that mistake again. I had to add another bottle of wine and it still wasn’t up to expectation. This was a big waste of money, ingredients, and time. My guests poured theirs down the drain.

It’s really annoying when people give a recipe 5 stars when their review is based on a new recipe adapted from the original.

I used moscato and triple sec, a half each of a lemon, lime, green apple, orange and ripe white peach. Saved the other half of each fruit in a baggie for another bottle. Served with a frozen strawberry in each glass. It was fabulous!
