My family LOVE it!!!!! I now make it for thanksgiving. The cranberries make the dish. I sometime use walnut instead. The favor is great…

On the Show Sandra said to substitute the water in the rice with Chicken Stock for more flavor. Why is it not stated here to do so? I will make this tonight like she did on the show and I expect great flavor.

I must admit that this tasted and turned out better than I thought.

I made this side dish to go with the crusted pork tenderloin that I made today and my family loved it. My 11 year old and 14 year old loved the flavor. I omitted the almonds because my mother can’t have them and it was a hit. I will surely make this again and soon!

I agree with the 3 rating. This is quick and easy to make, but it could use a little more flavor.

My whole family disliked the add-ins to the rice. Sorry.

This was so easy. The different colors in it made it different too. The almonds gave it a good crunch. Those who usually don’t care for rice that much really enjoyed this one.

The additions, especially the cranberries, ruined this for us. My husband mockingly called it “trail mix.” We will not make it again.
