Ingredients
- 2 pounds haricots verts or green beans
- 3/4 cup pine nuts, toasted and finely chopped
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Cook beans in a large pot of boiling salted water until crisp tender. Drain and rinse with cold water. Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add the green beans and cook until just heated through, stir in pine nuts and season with salt and pepper to taste.

I made this with the green beans… it’s a family favorite. I alternate between pine nuts and almonds. This recipe has definitely made the family request green beans more.
