Awesome
I used one 10oz. bag of frozen corn, instead of fresh. I put the frozen corn into the pan after sauteing the butter and shallots. It thawed quickly. The recipe was great! My family really liked the sweet and heat.
I finally found this recipe!! I made this shortly after the episode aired, years ago, and my 7 year old (at the time) daughter LOVED it! I can now make it again!!! She asks for “Candied Corn” every time I make corn and I can never remember what the ingredients are!!!
This is really good. I loved the added sweetness.
Really tasty, a nice surprise for a standard side dish. Be careful with the cayenne pepper since a little goes a long way. I bought a fresh jar recently and it has a kick to it!
This is oh my goodness delicious. It is corn season so fresh picked corn makes it especially good. We have made this several times and are making it again tonight with steak.
I used frozen corn and the family thought it was very good. A nice little twist other than butter, salt and pepper. The cayenne gave it a slight kick. A keeper!
Loved this corn! It was my job to bring a corn dish to our Thanksgiving dinner and I’ve been looking for a good dish and tried a few. I cut this recipe in half the first time just to try it and it was very easy and quick to make. My daughter loved it, I barley got any because she ate all of it. This definetly goes in my recipe box for the future. Since I’m making it for the whole family I might cut the cayenne pepper in half for those who don’t like spicy because this can be a very spicy dish, but tastey though.
What a FUN recipe, I really enjoyed making this easy dish and my family loved it.
Delicious!!! And wait for the kick at the end!
