Why do many people leave reviews on altererd recipes, you are not giving an accurate review on the recipe. If you used FRESH potatoes IT’S NOT THE SAME THING! Powdered alfredo sauce? Really?!
I just tried this recipe for our Thanksgiving dinner and my family really enjoyed them. The potatoes had good flavor and richness. I did tell them they were Sandra’s recipe but that I was keeping the ingredients a secret 🙂
Thanks for all the great recipes. They’ve always made my life easier 🙂
Thought these were great. Don’t understand why some didn’t like them. Maybe they followed another recipe and put there review here. Thanks Sandra.
I don’t understand the negative reviews- my uncle made these for Thanksgiving and they were MOUTH WATERING. He used fresh regular potatoes- they turned out so smooth and flavorful!
I’ve made these potatoes 2 Thanksgivings in a row and everyone loved them!!! This year I had to make 2 batches because one wasn’t enough, we fed over 15 people this year!!! I don’t know how people don’t like these, its an easy recipe and they taste great!!! Thanks Sandra!!! 🙂
…and can I just tell you how foul they were? The alfredo sause is totally unnecessary and totally ruins the dish.
I used Yukon Gold potatoes, but otherwise followed the recipe as directed. Loved the recipe – everyone at Thanksgiving’s new favorite mashed potatoes.
I was looking for a last minute recipe for mashed potatoes and saw this on tv last night. She used precooked frozen potatoes not creamer potatoes. I am unsure how to proceed but that seems to be a huge inconsistency.
This recipe could not be any easier.
The patatoes are very tasty.
