Ingredients

  1. 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cut into French fries
  2. Soybean oil
  3. Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in fryer to 350 degrees F. Add French fries to the hot oil (may need to do in separate batches). Shake the basket so they do not stick. Let them reach a golden brown and then drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
